Seven green steps.
One broken outcome.
A multi-step workflow inherits every upstream miss. Paste the honest success rate for each step to estimate the naive compounded end-to-end rate.

USE THE NUMBER CORRECTLY
It is a triage signal, not a production promise.
The multiplication assumes each step rate is measured honestly and the outcomes are independent. Correlated failures, retries, fallbacks, human review, and shared upstream errors can move the real rate in either direction.
Use the result to find where evidence is missing. Then test one expected outcome, duplicate ownership, empty branches, ambiguous retries, and semantic source mapping.
AGENT LOOPS NEED A DIFFERENT MODEL
This calculator does not estimate self-correction.
A looping agent is not a longer independent chain. Model the maximum attempt count, conditional success on each attempt, terminal or timeout escape, and whether every side effect is idempotent. Correlated retry failures make one headline percentage misleading.
The free calculator remains the honest baseline for straight-through stages. For one sanitized looping workflow, the $49 written teardown maps the loop, escape, retry, and receipt boundaries before implementation.
TURN THE NUMBER INTO ACCEPTANCE EVIDENCE
Do not stop at the percentage.
