The crowd is a signal, not a verdict
Beginner courses attract visible attention because beginners have a real selection problem: many listings sound useful before the learner knows what “useful” should produce.
Public response to beginner and anti-hype material can indicate attention. It cannot establish that a particular course improves work, creates revenue, or deserves a purchase. Course listings and autocomplete suggestions have the same limit. They show that material is available or that people phrase related queries. They do not prove outcomes.

There is one important access caveat. Google distinguishes no-charge resources from paid offerings, and terms may vary by course or region. OpenAI states that its course-completion certificates are not OpenAI Certifications and do not guarantee eligibility for future certification. Google marks Introduction to Generative AI as badge-bearing. Microsoft associates a pass designation with signing in and answering the assessment correctly.
